Continuing the responsible tradition followed by the Bank, on 5 June Bank employees joined the Latvia State Blood Donor centre (VADC) at the off-site donor day near the Freedom Monument.
During approximately 1.5 hours, 12 bank employees donated blood. Some of them donated blood for the first time, but for some of them it was the thirteenth time. If one blood donor can save the lives of 3 people then we today we managed to help 36 people!
It should be noted that, in the past, Bank organised the donor day at its premises on Smilsu street 6, but this time, considering the spread of COVID-19, for safety reasons the Bank employees participated in the donor day off-site.
