Lawyer in the Legal Department for Lending

Key Responsibilities

draft credit-related agreements and other transaction documents;

provide opinions on the structure of complex transactions, credit security and client documentation;

handle matters relating to the registration of credit security, including abroad;

resolve legal issues arising during the performance of credit obligations;

participate in the drafting of credit-related agreements, procedures and other documents;

represent the bank’s interests in negotiations with clients and third parties.

Required Skills

a degree in law;

at least 3 years’ work experience in the field of lending;

the ability to analyse information quickly and draft documents, whilst managing multiple tasks;

the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team;

a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail;

excellent written legal skills in Latvian and English, enabling the preparation and analysis of documents;

the ability to present arguments and defend one’s point of view.
