BlueOrange elected to Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia Council

In March 2017, the meeting of Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia (ACBL) members elected BlueOrange to the association’s council. The bank will be represented on the council by Dmitrijs Latiševs, the CEO of BlueOrange (Baltikums Bank AS).

“The banking industry in Latvia plays a substantial role in the development of the national economy, which makes it essential for each of us to be able to step up and contribute to the financial sector’s successful development going forward,” BlueOrange CEO Dmitrijs Latiševs commented.

The Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia is an organisation of banks and branches of foreign banks registered in Latvia. Its mission is to cooperate with government and NGO stakeholders for effective development of the business and financial services environment in the Republic of Latvia. The association represents the interests of banks at various institutions and coordinates decision-making processes among banks. The ACBL Council is a supervisory body monitoring its activities and shaping a unified position for banks in solving major issues. The council currently includes the representatives of 8 banks.
