The Bank celebrates its 17th anniversary

On June 22, BlueOrange celebrates its 17th anniversary. During these years, we have created a European bank of international standing, which successfully develops its activities both in Latvia and Europe, and abroad.

During our seventeenth year, we continued to grow following modern trends and having a particular emphasis directly on technology and introduction of new services. It is important for us to enable our clients to successfully run their business and manage assets from anywhere in the world.

This past year has been marked by great accomplishments: BlueOrange has become one of the first banks in Latvia to offer financial service providers an opportunity to create innovative and efficient digital solutions for fintech using the BlueOrange Open API.

We have developed and introduced a new service for small and medium enterprises – e-invoices. It allows entrepreneurs to increase the number of invoices paid in a timely manner and speed up the receipt of funds even if they do not have a website of their own.

We have also taken care of clients who are physically located in Riga by introducing the first contactless ATMs in Latvia, thus highlighting yet another technology innovation in the financial sector.

Most recently, we have become the first online bank in Latvia that has been authorised to perform remote identification of clients, which makes BlueOrange a modern financial platform that can provide online services to Latvian residents – individuals across the world. Moreover, we have just introduced biometric identification in our mobile app, and we keep on working on other improvements and updates.
