BluOr Bank to offer bonds with a 10% interest rate starting from September 9th

Starting from September 9, BluOr Bank will offer investors the opportunity to purchase subordinated bonds with a fixed annual interest rate of 10%. These bonds will be available to both private and institutional investors, with a nominal value of €1,000 and quarterly interest payments. The total issuance volume is EUR 30 million divided into several series. Subscription will open on September 9 at 10:00 AM and close on September 27 at 3:30 PM.
BluOr Bank is an experienced participant in the investment market. Over the past 20 years, the bank has been involved in more than 40 bond issuances as either an issuer, organizer, or agent. Stability and purposeful growth are all about BluOr Bank, aligned with its business model and strategic objectives. It is one of the six largest banks in Latvia and is among the five systemically important financial institutions in the country. Clients from Latvia, the Baltics, and Northern Europe make up 98% of the bank's total customer base.
In the first half of 2024, the bank reported a profit of EUR 9.2 million. The amount of the Bank’s equity capital is EUR 90.6 million, and the total amount of assets is EUR 966.2 million.

The proceeds from the subordinated bond issuance will be used to increase the bank’s capital, which will support lending activities and strengthen the bank's market position thereby contributing to the growth of the national economy and supporting local businesses.
“This benefits both borrowers, particularly Latvian entrepreneurs in the case of BluOr Bank, and bondholders, who are rewarded with a fixed return that exceeds the expected inflation in the coming years,” added Dmitrijs Latiševs.
