BlueOrange Open API: more opportunities for closer cooperation

In November 2017, BlueOrange becomes one of the first few banks in Latvia to offer financial service providers efficient and innovative digital solutions for fintech using the BlueOrange Open API. An API (application programming interface) allows financial service providers to integrate BlueOrange services with their applications. The BlueOrange Open API is compliant with the PSD2 (Payment Service Directive) and the Berlin Group’s API method design guidelines.
The bank already provides access to the BlueOrange Open API sandbox, which allows developers to try out the API for retrieving statistical data. To test our API, just register online and start experimenting – and help develop the latest and greatest web and mobile apps!
The BlueOrange Open API feature set is being expanded and improved on a regular basis. Very soon, BlueOrange will be able to offer clients and partners even more development opportunities.
