BlueOrange increases the limit for contactless payments up to EUR 50

On March 26 BlueOrange will increase the limit for contactless cards up to EUR 50. Increased limits for cards issued by the banks in Latvia will be applicable during a period of the national state of emergency.
Such a decision was taken to limit the spread of the Covid-19 in Latvia by reducing direct contact between people, contact with the surfaces of payment terminals, contact with other people and the use of cash. Please, visit Finance Latvia website to learn more.
The limits on contactless payments will be increased automatically. You can opt out of the contactless functionality by sending a message to bank though the internet bank.
