A new service by BlueOrange: Pay your e-invoices with a card!
April 16, 2018
BlueOrange continues to expand the range of simple and technological solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and introduces a new service – e-invoicing. The service will allow our clients to create electronic invoices and send them via SMS or e-mail. The key advantage of e-invoices is the possibility of making instant payments with a Visa/Mastercard card without using the Internet Bank. SMEs will be able to issue one-off invoices, recurring invoices (automatically sent), keep record of outstanding invoices etc.
“The e-invoicing service is available to both current and new clients of the bank – SMEs in Latvia or countries within the European Economic Area. Furthermore, there is no need to come to the Client Service Centre in order to conclude a service agreement – it can be done via the BlueOrange Internet Bank using an electronic signature generated by our Digipass. It is fast and very convenient. The main advantage for business is that entrepreneurs will be able to increase the number of invoices paid in a timely manner and speed up the receipt of funds, even if they do not have a website of their own”, says Nikolajs Laskovskis, Head of E-Commerce Department of BlueOrange Bank.
In order to send an e-invoice, the invoicing party only needs to know the client’s phone number or e-mail address, whereas the entire process of delivering and paying the invoice takes no more than a minute. After clicking the “Pay” button, the transaction will be processed in compliance with the standards of international card organisations VISA and Mastercard, thus ensuring maximum security of the service.
BlueOrange is the first Latvian bank to offer its clients a service with such functionality.
