As a bank registered in Latvia, BluOr Bank is subject to the national laws and regulations of Latvia, including the Deposit Guarantee Law.

The law specifies that, regardless of the date on which funds are deposited, the guaranteed compensation per depositor for funds deposited with a bank in Latvia is equal to the amount of their guaranteed deposit, but no more than EUR 100,000. Important information about payment cards

** MasterCard Classic cardholders who are residents of Latvia can withdraw cash free of charge at any ATM in Latvia and around the world (including BluOr Bank ATMs) is accounted for a certain period (calendar month), where the transaction fee is reserved at the time of the transaction, but then cancelled at the time of write-off of the transaction.

As soon as the total amount of cash withdrawals in ATMs exceeds EUR 500.01, the transaction fee is reserved and deducted in accordance with the bank’s applicable pricelist.

The total amount of free-of-charge ATM cash withdrawal is accounted per calendar month based on the date of the transaction at the ATM.

** These rules apply only to EU customers.

Open an Account

The bank offers the possibility for clients from Latvia, the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the UK to open an account remotely. This means that you no longer have to arrive to the bank office in Riga in person. To open a bank account remotely, you only need an internet connection, a scanned copy of your passport or ID card / the document confirming the legal basis of the company’s activities.

You will need to fill out a current account application and provide an identification document (such as a passport or ID card) and a set of legal documents regarding your business.

The Bank’s policies do not allow account opening for companies registered in Panama, Belize, BVI, Seychelles or the Marshall Islands.
